Georgie Girl

The Georgie Girl bag pattern by Purse Strings is a roomy handbag with double shoulder straps, a decorative inverted front pleat and piping details.  There is a drawstring tie on top and the finished size is 14" H x 18" W.

Materials Needed:

• FABRIC:
• 1/2 yard for the outer bag sides
• 1/2 yard for the outer bag centers
• 1/4 yard for the upper band
• 1/8 yard for the tie
• 1/2 yard for the lining
• 3/8 yard for the pockets
• 1/3 yard for the handles
• INTERFACING AND NOTIONS:
• 3 1/4 yards covered piping (to make your own you will need 1/2 yard fabric and 3 1/4 yards 1/8" cotton cording)
• 1 yard of 60" wide fusible knit interfacing for the lining, pockets and tie)
• 1 1/2 yards of 45" wide fusible fleece for the outer bag sides, centers and handles
• 3 yards of 20" wide Pellon Shape Flex for the outer bag sides, centers, and handles
