Christmas Gift Series - Pillowcase Class August 16, 2025

We continue our Christmas Sewing Projects series of three easy, great Christmas Gift Classes. 

Learn how to make an easy pillowcase in this beginner friendly class. As long as you can sew a seam you can make a pillowcase.

Pillowcases are fun as gifts because there are so many different color combinations you can put together to make the perfect gift for someone. 

Fabric Requirements:

• 2 yards of fabric - this will make 2 pillowcases with the fabrics switched
• 2" strip WOF per pillowcase for an accent stripe

Bring with you to class:

• Sewing machine
• Thread
• Pins or clips
• Scissors
• Fabric
  • If you purchase from the quilt shop ahead of the class and attend we will refund 20% of the fabric you purchased for class during class.
• Snack and drink if desired
• Rotary cutter
• Thick seam jumper if you have one. There is one very thick spot so this is helpful

We will provide:

• Cutting mats
• Iron
• Ironing mats

It will not take the full time to make a pillowcase, we invite you to come ready to make multiple and take advantage of the time out to get some sewing done and socialize.

Classes are non-refundable unless we cancel the class.
