The Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts is home to the Wisconsin Quilt History Project, which has documented over 8,000 quilts and their stories since its founding in 1988.
I really love that people are tracking the history of quilting. We need to know where things came from.
I actually really like this block and might have to make it up.

Cutting

Piecing
Use pieces D and E and make 12 HST.
The rest of this block is placing the pieces in the correct spot.
Start by placing piece B in the center of your block. This will allow you to sew your center row together.

Next place pieces A and B.

Lastly add in piece C and sew your corner blocks together.

Sew each of your row together.

Sew your rows together to complete your block.

I do think the fabric for Wisconsin is a little dark on the dark background, but I really couldn't have done a light background with my house. Kids and animals would ruin it in no time, and I'm not crazy enough to think it won't get used even if that isn't intended.
