Up next is Utah. I lived in Utah for 8 years and I kind of miss it. My son definitely does, he was old enough that he remembers when we lived there.
Utah hosts the annual "Garden of Quilts" event at Thanksgiving Point, which is noted as Utah's largest outdoor quilt display and features hundreds of quilts, classes and vendors.

Cutting

On pieces B draw a line corner to corner. This is your sewing line. Sew your squares to the corners of piece A. Trim your seams to 1/4". This will be the center of your block.

Take pieces C and D and make 12 HST's.
Piece these HST together to give you the below lay out. Sew your rows together to complete the center of your block.

Take pieces E, F, and G to work on your borders.
Piece together E and F to make 4 rectangles. Place one of each on the sides of your center block.
Using G on the ends piece together the top and bottom rows of your block.

Sew your rows together to complete your block.

U.S.A. Map Quilt
I got Utah added to my map quilt and I think we are at a point you can really see what this is going to look like.
