Tennessee State Museum shows Civil War era and Appalachian quilts. I would love to go look at these quilts. I love the history that these quilts would show from our country.
I also really like this block. It is a lot of HST's, but I do like how this block looks.

Using A and B make 12 HST
Using C and D make 16 HST
Now we will start laying out our block.
Make 4 sets of blocks with this layout.
Layout your four corners and add in G with your Pink and White HST's and the center E piece.
Sew together your corner and centers to make your top and bottom rows and the pieces for your center row.
Sew your rows together to complete your block.
