Cutting
Take pieces A and B and make 4 HST. Take pieces A and C and make 4 HST. Using piece F create your strips like below.
Next we will create out center strip. Take pieces G and H and alternate them to create the center strip. Place between the two you have already created like below.
Finally create your last two strips with pieces D and E. Putting piece E between two D squares.
Finally sew all your strips together to complete your block.
U.S.A. Map Quilt
This week we added Oregon to our map quilt. A few more states and we will be able to start stitching them down. I don't want to go over the same stitches multiple times so I will be waiting to sew them on until I can sew all the way around the state.
