Nebraska

Nebraska!

Nebraska is home to the International Quilt Study Center & Museum in Lincoln. This museum houses the world's largest publicly held quilt collection, showcasing quilts from around the globe.

I do like this block. It looks like a lot, but it isn't too hard to make.

Cutting

Piecing

Using pieces A and B make 4 nine-patch blocks.

Using pieces C and D create 4 HST.

Using pieces E and F create blocks with one of each.

Use one 9 patch, one of the HST made from C and D, and two of your blocks created from E and F to create your corner blocks.

Sew the pieces together to create your corner blocks.

Using pieces G and H lay everything out to create the rows for your block as follows.

Sew your pieces together to create your rows, then sew all your rows together to complete your block.

U.S.A. Map Quilt

Not that many states yet, but I feel like this is a decent amount of the country already on the map.
