Missouri

Missouri

The Missouri Bicentennial quilt, created to commemorate the state's 200th anniversary, features blocks representing each of Missouri's 114 counties and city of St. Louis

I LOVE this block and will definitely be making it.

Cutting

Piecing

Using piece A and B create 2 four-patch squares. Put those together with piece C as shown below.

Take one piece D and sew it to the right side of the block you created.

Using pieces E an F make 4 HST. Sew these together into a pinwheel.

Use your remaining piece D and sew it to the left side of your pinwheel.

You will now have two rows of pieces for your block.

Sew your two rows together to complete your block.

U.S.A. Map Quilt

I am really happy with how this is turning out so far. I need to sit down and get more states actually sewn down, but I love the look of it.
