This week we add Indiana to our blocks and map quilt.
The Quilters Hall of Fame is in Marion, IN in the Marie Webster House. Marie Webster wrote the book Quilts: Their Story and How to Make Them.
What is your favorite quilt book you have read?

Cutting

Piecing
Using A and B create 4 HST. These are the corner pieces, you will build onto these moving in toward the center of your block.
Cut piece C corner to corner to make 16 triangles.
Cut piece D corner to corner to make 32 triangles.
Follow the following steps to create one corner block. Repeat this to make all four corner blocks.

Using pieces I and J make a 4 patch block for the center of your block.
Taking pieces K place one between your corner blocks on the top and bottom and one on both sides of your 4 patch.

Sew your pieces together into rows.

Sew your rows together to complete your block.

U.S.A. Map Quilt
Indiana kind of blends in with Illinois, but it's ok. I tried when I was cutting things out to look at what I had fabrics I where, but apparently I missed a couple details as I was going.
